I spent an afternoon walking around Gig Harbor, sightseeing at the marina, and checking out two independent bookstores.

Surprisingly Gig Harbor has quite a few independent bookstores. Who knew! I stopped at Gig Harbor Book Company and No Dearth of Books. They were the cutest little bookstores and I bought a book at each one. The employee at Gig Harbor Book Company was exceptionally lovely, and I really enjoyed chatting with her. Chatting with smaller book store employees is the best 🤍
